As a Talent Development Manager at Brightscout, you will play a key role in overseeing recruitment, employee development, and engagement. This position is responsible for managing the entire talent lifecycle, from acquisition to professional growth, while optimizing HR functions such as performance management, employee relations, and compliance. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent. You’ll collaborate with department heads to align HR initiatives with business goals, fostering a positive culture that drives employee satisfaction and organizational success.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Hiring
- Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Develop recruitment strategies using multiple channels (job boards, social media, referrals) to attract top-tier talent.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create recruitment plans based on business projections.
- Implement recruitment tools to track metrics and optimize the hiring process.
- Onboarding & Employee Development
- Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs to integrate new hires into the company culture.
- Lead ongoing training and professional development efforts to support career progression.
- Coordinate performance reviews, career development plans, and leadership initiatives.
- Develop mentorship programs to foster career growth and employee satisfaction.
- Resource Planning
- Collaborate with department heads and the Operations Manager to manage resource allocation efficiently.
- Ensure team members are assigned to projects that align with their skills and capacity.
- Assist in workforce planning to anticipate future hiring needs and adjust resource distribution.
- Monitor resource usage to ensure efficient project delivery and optimize utilization.
- Culture & Engagement
- Foster a positive company culture through engagement activities and feedback mechanisms.
- Lead employee satisfaction programs to promote a strong company culture and retention.
- Act as the primary contact for employee concerns, fostering a supportive environment.
- Develop recognition initiatives that align with company values and boost morale.
- HR Optimization
- Improve HR processes and implement technology solutions to streamline operations.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
- Utilize HR data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruitment, talent management, and employee relations.
- Proven ability to attract, hire, and develop talent across various levels.
- Experience recruiting for Design and Development engineering roles is ideal.
